Overview
This document explains how to determine the type of Hubshare environment you are using. Hubshare can be deployed in three different ways: private cloud, multi-tenant, or on-premises.
Solution
You can identify the type of Hubshare environment by looking at the login URL. Here are the rules:
- If the login URL contains a country code (such as .usa, .france, .de etc.) or login/beta/demo.hubshare.com, then you are using a multi-tenant environment. This means that you share the same Hubshare server with other customers.
- If the login URL is companyname.hubshare.com, then you are using a private cloud environment. This means that you have a dedicated Hubshare instance hosted by M-Files in the cloud.
- If the login URL is name.company.com, then you are using an on-premises environment. This means that you have installed Hubshare on your own server and have full control over it.
