M-Files Classic Desktop: Share view by Email does not work with new Outlook

Overview

When using new Outlook for Windows selectingthe "Share view by Email" option gives an error:

" An error occurred in the e-mail application. Make sure that the e-mail application is available and properly configured "

Full error:

EmailClientThread.cpp, 300, An error occurred in the e-mail application.

Make sure that the e-mail application is available and properly configured. (0x8004088E)

EmailClientThread.cpp, 300, One or more unspecified errors occurred. No message was sent. (0x800438A8)

MAPIHelper.cpp, 205, One or more unspecified errors occurred. No message was sent. (0x800438A8)

MAPIHelper.cpp, 245, One or more unspecified errors occurred. No message was sent. (0x800438A8)

Solution

Currently the "Share view by Email" feature is only available for Classic Outlook.
