Overview
Automatic filling of properties in M-Files can be configured using several different methods. However, if multiple methods are applied simultaneously in a mixed manner, it may lead to unpredictable behavior. For instance, you might notice that the system does not follow the settings defined in Advanced Vault Settings (AVS).
Solution
Ensure that only one configuration method is active at a time. The recommended approach is to enable the feature through AVS.
If you notice that the system does not follow your AVS configuration, verify that your environment does not contain remnants of other configuration methods described in this documentation. For example, if your vault previously used Custom Vault Data for the configuration of this feature, remove any related settings from there.
