Registry settings can sometimes be the cause of Auto Update failures. This is only one of the causes and other troubleshooting should also be considered.Solution
When troubleshooting the cause of Auto Update failures, double check the registry settings for the correct update settings. Also, make sure that there are no settings for any version later than the version that installed on the workstation (see below).This will cause the Updater to read that the Workstation is up to date and will not download any subsequent updates.
In this example, removing the Registry key for 21.9.10629.5 will allow the Updater to connect and download the latest update.
