How to show preview of images in the listing pane

Overview

By default the listing pane shows a listing of documents in a view or search results. There is a possibility of showing small preview icons of image files which are included in the listing.
 

Solution

To enable preview of images, change the Display Mode by right-clicking on an empty section of the listing pane and selecting Display Mode > Extra-large, Large or Medium Icons from the context menu which appears.
