The article will explain how to create button/menu option with custom text to copy documents.
Solution
There is no direct way to add text/message to UI when using this functionality. However, it is possible to use workarounds to get something like this. There must be Compliance Kit installed on the server to get this functionality, it has Object Creator that you can use. Full Compliance Kit requires separate licenses to be bought but you can also use a free Configuration Accelerators license that includes Object Creator. Please see more details in Reference Documents.
In M-Files Admin tool go to Object Creator and create Add Copy Rule and define settings like below.
When in M-Files desktop and selecting document, you will see in left pane Controlled Actions and new Make Copy command with text you added in CK configuration. This new menu choice is available also when using the second mouse button to open the menu.
