Adobe Sign agreement status is set as 'OUTFORFORMFILLING'

Overview

When sending a document to be signed in Adobe sign the agreement status is not shown correctly as "Sent for signing". Instead, the status is shown as "OUTFORFORMFILLING", or "AUTHORING" and no email is sent for the document to be signed.

Solution

This is currently the expected outcome when trying to send for signing and the only recipient is the sender (same email address is in use). In these cases, Adobe will set the agreement into a different state that will also be shown in M-Files status.  If the agreement is later modified in Adobe and sent again for signing the status will be updated in M-Files correctly. Also, if there are some other signers defined (not just the sender) the status will be set as expected.
