Build a view to export all documents with relation to certain object type

Overview

In some use cases there may be a need to export all documents which have relation to certain object type. This can be done by building a specific view for that purpose and doing the export from the view.
In this example, there is object type "Decision", which has related documents defined in the metadata card.
A view is built to help to export all related documents out of M-Files.

Solution

Example:
There is object type "Decision" in vault. This object's property "Document" defines all documents related to this property.  

1. Build the following view with Decision as grouping level:

This view lists all documents which are in relationship with Decision object:  

2. Go into the view and select Export files: ALT - File - Export to export all documents from the view or go to the specific virtual folder to export all documents from the specific virtual folder.
