Cause and Reason

This is a common error in Windows 7 and Windows Server versions that have Internet Explorer 10 installed by default. IE10 lacks certain element handling functions needed to render the M-Files user interface and an error is generated.

Solution

The issue is resolved by updating Internet Explorer to latest version.
