Overview

In some rare cases, you cannot generate a .pfx file and you already have the extracted files available. This article will show you where to put your files to update your SSL certificate.

Solution

Your certificate is in .pfx: follow this article /article/How-to-update-Hubshare-certificate-On-Premise-only

If you already have the extracted files, you should have two .crt files and one .key file.

Move them to this path: C:ginxginx-1.27.5\conf\certs

Note: the path could vary, the version or the disk used can be different depending on your scenario.

You will need to rename them to this exact name shown below:

When done, please restart your Hubshare applications like shown in this article: /article/How-to-properly-restart-your-On-Premises-M-Files-Hubshare-application

You can then verify your certificate via your browser, and make sure the dates are exact.
