M-Files version 10.0 and later.Different Users
M-Files allows the use of two different kinds of users. The user can be an M-Files internal user, or the user can use Windows credentials to log in.Password Complexity
For Windows users, the complexity is set by Windows policies, which are either local policies or set from domain policies.For M-Files users the complexity rules are:
- Passwords must be at least 8 characters long.
- The maximum length for passwords is 120 characters long.
- They must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
- English uppercase characters (A through Z).
- English lowercase characters (a through z).
- Base 10 digits (0 through 9).
- Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %).
