Overview
M-Files Cloud vaults are governed by your assigned Trusted Persons (also known as trusted contacts), who must authorize specific vault operations requiring M-Files Support assistance to enable changes or restarts outside of normal maintenance. As individuals move in and out of the areas in your organization, you may need to designate or remove Trusted Persons. There is at least one Trusted Person assigned to each vault in your subscription. It is very helpful to periodically check the vault environment and review these contacts to ensure fast approval in priority situations.Solution
If you are using M-Files Manage for subscription management, your Subscription Admin may use Manage to edit the Trusted Person information in the Vaults display (Home>Vaults>) by selecting the vault name and updating the Vault details Trusted Persons field.For users that manage their subscription with the Subscription Management Portal, please contact Support with the current Trusted Person information (if known) for the vault name, along with a description of the needed changes. At minimum, we need a first name, last name, and email address of anyone being newly added.
