User action log is enabled with these instructions (Please also note the license requirements).
Click the information icon next to the optional event settings to help you decide if you want to enable them.

After enabling this feature, log out of M-Files, log back in and perform some operations in the vault (view object metadata cards, open documents, perform searches etc).
When viewing the vault event log now, you should see that it has started logging user actions in more detail. Note that you can double-click an event to open it and view the full details.
