Overview
When creating/adding documents in Hubshare and selecting workflow and state which has assignment (Assign to user) selected, user will not receive notification email. This article will explain reason and workaround for this.
Symptoms
No notification email message received by the assigned user.
Cause and Reason
At the writing of this article Hubshare does not fully support assignments and therefore this limitation will happen if assignment is placed to first state.
Solution
As a workaround add extra state (#1 in the image below) before the state that has assignment defined.
In transition between these states choose value 0 (zero) for the "Trigger the state transition after" option to make transition happen automatically.
For not confusing users you may rename extra state with same name as "real" state to make it transparent.
