How to Export Structure in New Cloud Environment for Support

Overview

If you need to provide a structure copy to Support you can follow these steps.
 

Solution

1. In the Admin Tool, browse to the 'Content Replication and Archiving' option on the left
2. Then select the 'One Time Export' button.

3. Select the 'Structure' tab
4. Check the 'Export Structure' box
5. Then select the structure elements you want to export. Usually this will be the 'All Elements' box.

6. Select the 'Package Location' tab
7. Under the 'Connection string' section click on the 'Get' button
8. Create a folder name under the 'User-specified folder name'
9. Create a password for the 'User-specified password for encryption' section

10. Copy all 3 pieces of data, the Connection String, the Folder Name, and the Password, as you will need to provide them to Support later.
11. Click on 'Okay' to create the export
12. Once the export is completed then send the Connection String, Folder Name, and Password to support via Cryptshare

*Note: Don’t forget to save the password created in cryptshare as that will be sent separately and if it is lost there is no way to retrieve it
