How to gather and send M-Files Hubshare on-premises nginx proxy logs

Overview

In some situations you might need to send to M-Files Support your Hubshare nginx proxy logs, especially in scenarios where you have network issues that may be related to

Solution

First, you will need to reach your nginx folder, which is usually located in the C drive.

Then go inside your nginx folder, which contains nginx and its current version.

Here is how it should look like (version could be different in your environment):

Go inside the logs folder and it should look like this:

Usually, the error.log or error.YOURHOSTNAME.log file should contain what we are looking for, but for M-Files Support, please gather the files that were generated after reproducing your issue and send them to us.

You can also .zip the whole folder and send it to M-Files Support.
