"Invalid Credentials" when attempting to link Hubshare with M-Files vault

Overview

This document describes one possible reason for error message "Invalid Credentials" to appear when linking Hubshare with Vault.

Symptoms

During system installation and/or migration to new server it may be possible to receive error "Invalid Credentials" message.

Cause and Reason

When using proxy server and if forgetting to add/verify correct values for Server, ProtocolSequence and Endpoint in proxy's registry under \Server\MFWA, you may see error message. See configuring document below, chapter 1 section 6.

Solution

Add correct registry values.
