Destroy Exported Objects in Scheduled Job From Server

Overview

Some customers will want to destroy exported objects from a scheduled job on the server rather than from the client.

Solution

In M-Files Admin Console:
  • Expand desired vault
  • Click on "Content Replication and Archiving"
  • Open 'New Scheduled Export'

  • Click on the 'Objects and Files' tab
  • Check the box "Export Objects and Files"

  • Uncheck the box "Export only changes since latest run" (once unchecked, the option to check the box 'Destroy exported objects after export' appears)
