Overview

In some situations, you might need to get more logs triggered in your on-premises environment. Especially if this is needed for a support case investigation, or to get more information on what is currently happening on your M-Files Hubshare instance.

This article will show you how to proceed if you are using Hubshare 5.0.11.x or later.

If you use a previous version of 5.0.11.x, please refer to this article: /article/How-to-change-Hubshare-logging-level-for-your-on-premise-environment

Solution

  1. Open your Registry Editor
  2. Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hubshare\Default
  3. Add a new key, and choose String Value

  4. Call it "LogLevel" and set the value data to "Verbose"

This will allow you to have logs in debug mode.
  5. Restart your M-Files Hubshare application (follow this article if you don't know how: /article/How-to-properly-restart-your-On-Premises-M-Files-Hubshare-application)
  6. Gather your logs and send them to support (/article/Hubshare-How-to-get-product-logs-On-Premise)
  7. Revert your changes by deleting the key you have set
